ART-iculate was created to celebrate expression in all its forms.
We believe that art is a language—one of many—and everyone deserves space to speak it. Some express themselves through colors, shapes, and symbols. Some through words, movement, or sound. Here, all forms of expression are valued and welcomed.
Audience
ART-iculate is designed for children and teens -especially nonverbal and autistic kids—but it’s open to anyone who wants to share or experience art as a way to communicate.
Parents, caregivers, and educators will also find tools and resources to support creative expression.

About me...
Hello! My name is Kara!
I love combining creativity with technology to create spaces where kids can express themselves safely and freely.

ARTiculate was inspired by my young cousin, Julian, who is nonverbal. Seeing the ways he communicates and the challenges he faces made me want to create something meaningful. I first tried to make an app to support artistic expression, but it didn’t go as planned. I gained the courage and skills to turn my idea into a website. I’m passionate about using technology to help kids and teens share their creativity, connect with others, and build empathy in our communities. You can usually find me creating artwork in my free time - exploring all the different kinds of mediums, and playing volleyball!
